Gypsy Wig are a three-piece Indie band, put the poppy and the guitar parts for the obese, melodically bright punk-influenced rhythm section. Consists of original Denville Evan Moore (bass), Jon Lindblom (drums) from Rockaway, and Mike Taddeo (guitar/vocals) from the Oak Ridge Gypsy Wig sums up the whole, the 1990s indie/grunge/punk Vibe music, but with a more contemporary sensibility and a relatively accessible style than the abrasive.
"I think the best way to describe we would see our backgrounds," said Moore. "Mike has been playing in the folk and country rock band, and like me and Jon had played punk/hardcore ' expletive ' because we were in high school.
Guitarist Mike Taddeo said that sometimes the trio can be difficult, but that the band has been quite flexible in terms of style.
"We are trying to play to the strengths of each other," says Taddeo. "When it has been tasted limit — being only three of us, and work in the context of a rock band. But lately we have been pushing hard to expand what we can do together. There is an attempt to congruency with our band ' sound ', but we're all very open-minded about what Gypsy Wig can be heard. "
Moore and Lindblom have become old friends since high school, where they formed the band dead now, the birth of screams. Note that the way he Taddeo was introduced to Moore and Lindblom was a result of their time in the birth of screams.
