A Medford was convicted Tuesday of more individuals of conning $ 400,000, prosecutors said in a press release.
: Pasqualino Spadorcia, 42, made at least three people believed he was a close friend or a "significant other" and then convincing them to lend him thousands of dollars, he wrote a blank check and open a business that he siphoned off funds from, Attorney Gerry Leone said in a press release.
Spadorcia to the authorities he lost a lot of money that he steals gambling, a press release said.
Leone "range of imaginative, intentional and goal lies this defendant was ordered to get money from the victim was a sneaky scheme," said in a written statement. "Investigations revealed that the money was never used as intended by, and promised to the victims."
He was found guilty by a jury of Middlesex County Tuesday 12 counts, including a seven-count of larceny and one count of blackmail.
